These speakers are awesome. I was busting my eardrums wearing headphones to listen to music so I bought these. They look great, are easy to install and the sound is sooooo much better than I expected. I have after market pipes that sound like a tractor trailer and these guys completely drowned them out. A few words of advice if you want....I originally used a basic MP3 player and it just didn't go loud enough so I used my IPod and now it's cranking...so if you have a volume issue, it may not be the speakers. Also, I installed them so they are close together and pointing right at my head...not sure if that made a difference or not. Oh, and if you hook them up stock, make sure you shut off the speakers...it's easy to forget that they have an off knob if you shut off your player instead. Hope this helps.

Purchsed "Sound of Chrome" and they worked pretty well, not great volume to start, for about 2 months and then the volume dropped by 50%! Couldn't hear it above an idle. Called Kuryakyn, they told me it must be a defective amp & to contact the verndor, which I did, and they said to return them to Kuryakyn for replacement, which I did. They have not replaced them! I would not buy this item again due to poor quality & I will never purchase Kuryakyn brand anything as they do not stand behind their products!

Awesome product. I downloaded Sirius app for Droid X and can listen to sirius radio while I ride, from my phone. It could only be better if it charged phone while riding. I installed charging connection, so all is good. Happy and Safe riding. Loud Pipes and Music Saves Lives!!
