I just had a lot of improvements done in my house and bought new furniture and wanted this type of chair pads for my dining room suite. I looked in all the local store and they didn't carry them at all, so I went on line and ordered these - they came very quickly and are exactly what I wanted. They are perfect with the new look!

The chair pads look just like the photos. That part is not a problem; however, no where in the description of these chair pads did I see anything about the fact that all the braiding was done over a white vinyl core. First off, true braiding is not done over a core. There is solid fabric that is the result of braiding 3 pieces of fabric together much like you braid hair (pigtails). The white core will have a tendency to show with time. Also the ties on the chair pads should have been made to not have ends that ravel. I tied knots in the ends before I tied them onto the chairs to stop further fraying. Lastly, where the manufacturer places the ties does not work for many chairs. That is understandable, so the ties need to be put in so that the customer can move one of them so that the pad can conform to their chair requirements. Many of the ties are catch into the stitching that holds the pad together and may not be able to be repositioned. I was in a bind time-wise to find braided chair pads in this specific size and color for my chairs; otherwise I would have returned them and kept looking. The price was certainly attractive at the time, but it appears that you get what you pay for.

i would highly recommend these chair pads ! they are rustic design and well put together. if u want some extra backing u can always add foam to bottom. this purchase was well worth it. they are stylish and reasonable price plus well braided.
