This company has zero customer service. Before you buy this product, try calling and emailing them. They don't answer the phone and they will not respond to your emails. I wanted to buy a replacement controller when mine got zapped in a power surge. I entirely understand that such a failure would not be covered by the warranty, but my efforts to reach the company to make a purchase have been frustrating and fruitless. I will never buy another product from Biddeford.

The Biddeford Electric Heated Mattress Pad. I don't really liked because you can feel the wire under your body even with 2 sheets on top, doesn't get warm fast it takes very long time

This is my FIRST heated matress pad.. Originally I wanted to get a heating blanket (which I ordered but would take too long to ship to me) so I bought this heating matress pad at Kohl's because I had a 20% off coupon and I needed something NOW to heat me up at night. I like this heating pad. It does take VERY LONG to heat up to a nice "toasty" temperature on the highest setting. I would say it takes about 1 hr - 1.5 hours to heat up to feel the max heat. After about that time it stays hot and would have to turn it down to about a 5. It keeps me warm all night but, it shuts off on me automatically. Anyone know how to prevent that from happening? I woke up cold this morning because it shut off :( But other than that, I think this a good heated matress pad and if you shop around, can get it for a good price with coupons :)
